The ADCRR is pleased to announce that incarcerated individuals will have the ability to make calls from their personal tablet devices starting August 1, 2024 through our vendor Securus. This significant, statewide innovation at the Department means that incarcerated individuals will no longer need to wait in line for traditional phones at an ADCRR facility, but will have the choice of making calls directly from a personal electronic tablet.

HOW IT WORKS:

Tablet calls will utilize Securus’s AdvanceConnect feature.

Friends, family, legal counsel or others who want to receive calls from an incarcerated individual’s tablet must register for AdvanceConnect through the Securus Mobile app.

Friends, family and loved ones have the ability to purchase tablet calls by adding money to an incarcerated individual’s Securus Debit account.

Note for Legal Counsel: Per ADCRR’s current policy and practice, all calls whether from a tablet, wall, or yard phone are recorded. Legal counsel or others seeking to have a confidential conversation should contact a prison complex for the appropriate process for handling privileged conversations.
