Inmate Death Notification – Codi Harrison

TUCSON (January 22, 2025) – Inmate Codi Harrison, 19, ADCRR #371592, died on January 22, 2025, at Banner University Medical Center Tucson, following an apparent act of self-harm by hanging.

Prison staff discovered Harrison unresponsive in his housing unit on January 16, 2025, and conducted life-saving measures until paramedics arrived onsite. Responding paramedics transported Harrison to Banner University Medical Center South for evaluation and treatment, and he was later pronounced deceased at Banner University Medical Center Tucson on January 22, 2025. 

Inmate Harrison was admitted to ADCRR custody in 2024 after being sentenced out of Maricopa County for Endangerment, Attempt to Promote Prison Contraband, and Attempt to Commit Unlawful Use of Means of Transportation.

His assigned housing location was ASPC-Tucson.

All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner’s office.
